Daniel is a certified fraud examiner with over 15 years of experience in both private and public sector fraud investigations. He has experience in retail loss prevention and private investigations. He created and managed the investigations unit within the internal audit office of the Tennessee Department of Transportation, an organization with a budget of over $1.6B. Currently, he works as a senior investigative auditor for the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State of Tennessee investigating fraud, waste, and abuse of public funds.
He has provided training at various CFE, AGA, IIA, and NASACT training events. He has also trained personnel of various state and local governments.
